Are you looking for a meaningful, fun-filled volunteer role working with girls? Do you have a limited amount of time to give? If this fits you, we have a great opportunity for you!

Our Get Real program is a 30-week mentoring program designed to connect at-risk girls with caring community members. The goal is to increase the girls’ motivation and ability for making positive life choices that will impact their school performance and attendance.

During the program’s 30 weeks, girls will meet in a group setting every other week. On the opposite weeks, they will meet one-on-one with their mentor to discuss the activities that took place in the group session. Topics in the program include self-esteem, love and caring for others, “No Sex” abstinence program, peer pressure, drug and substance abuse prevention, and conflict resolution.
