Congratulations to Darlene and Jackie of the Product Sales Department and all of the girls, volunteers and staff who made this year’s Cookie Program the best in the state of Florida!

On Friday night, at the 2008 Cookie Program Celebration, Little Brownie Bakers presented Girl Scouts of West Central Florida with the award for the largest Girl Scout Cookie Sale of any council in Florida!

More than 2 million packages were sold during this year’s Cookie Program (2,028,024 exactly) with more than $1.2 million in direct troop proceeds and $3.9 million in council proceeds to benefit all girls in Girl Scouts of West Central Florida. Nearly 12,000 girls participated in this year’s cookie program and learned the power of goal-setting, developed self-confidence and learned to work together towards achieving a common goal!

Congratulations Girl Scouts of West Central Florida and to our Product Sales department….together, we Made it a Hit! The plaque seen below is now located in the Tampa Service Center (near the elevator).
