Girl Scouting is Just For Girls! If you are a girl between the ages of 5 and 17, Girl Scouts has a place for you!

No matter what you like to do, you can find Girl Scout programs and activities to suit your interests.

You will learn the importance of personal responsibility, the value of goal-setting, the spirit of teamwork, and the thrill of accomplishment. You will discover, connect and take action concerning the world around you.

Girl Scouts are divided into troops and interest groups at the following levels:

  • Cadettes (Grades 6-8)
  • Seniors (Grades 9-10)
  • Ambassadors (Grades 11-12)

Girls in any of these age levels may participate as Individual Girl Scouts. An “Individual Girl” cannot meet the regular schedule of a troop/group. These Girl Scouts may participate in any of the programs provided by the staff and volunteers of the Girl Scouts of West Central Florida when they have time.
